TUI AG revenue by segment 2023

TUI AG's global revenue experienced a significant annual increase in the 2023 fiscal year, also surpassing the figure reported before the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Between October 2022 and September 2023, the Northern region, which includes TUI's tour operations and airlines in the UK, Ireland, and the Nordic countries, was the company's most profitable segment, generating 7.7 billion euros. Overall, TUI's revenue worldwide amounted to roughly 20.7 billion euros in 2023.

Northern region: comprises tour operator activities and airlines in the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics. This segment also included the Canadian strategic venture Sunwing, which sold its tour operation business in May 2023.

Central region: comprises the tour operators and airlines in Germany and the tour operator activities in Austria, Poland, and Switzerland. The tour operator in Italy was closed in 2020.

Western Region: comprises the tour operators and airlines in Belgium and the Netherlands, and the tour operator activities in France.

Hotels and resorts: includes hotels majority-owned by TUI, joint ventures with local partners, stakes in companies giving TUI significant influence, and hotels operated under management contracts.
